Scott Perkins - Owner

I reside in Prior Lake, MN with my wife Anne and have three children, Chris, 28, Emma, 20, and Brock, 16. We have a very active lifestyle taking advantage of all the seasons Minnesota has to offer. In the summer we enjoy water sports, skiing, tubing, wakeboarding, and hanging out at the beach. In the winter months, we try to make the most of it by downhill skiing, ice skating, snowmobiling, and of course ice fishing.
My career in the coatings industry started while living in IL attending Wheeling High School working weekends for Corner Stone Flooring in 1985. I continued to work for Cornerstone Flooring during my college years at Eastern Illinois University. In 1993, I took on my first sales job for State Chemical Company in Chicago, IL and continued working for Cornerstone Flooring on weekends and holidays. In 1994, I accepted a position with Cornerstone Flooring as a project manager until 1996 when presented with an opportunity with Tennant as a technical representative. After a fantastic four years of working in our technical department, I decided to take on a new challenge and accepted a position as a floor coating specialist in May of 2000, the same year I married Anne. From 2000 through 2009, I held the position of floor coating specialist working directly with owners and architects delivering unsurpassed results. From 2010 through 2012, I was asked to create a strategic account program for Tennant. After successfully starting this program and securing accounts such as Seneca Foods, Costco, and HY-VEE, I was asked to join the strategic account retail team at Tennant. In this role, I worked with high-level customers such as Kohl’s, Costco, Dollar General, and Tractor Supply selling our industrial and commercial cleaning equipment.
After 20-plus years with one of the greatest companies I have ever worked for, I decided to go back to my roots. I am currently one of two owners at Pro Maintenance, Inc. Pro Maintenance is one of the largest and most trusted industrial floor coating contractors in the Midwest. We have been fortunate enough to have been serving our customers for 45 years. We partner with only the strongest suppliers. Our goal is not to deliver the cheapest floor system, but rather to deliver the system that fits the customer’s needs and stand behind it. Mike Holtz - Owner
Mike is currently married with two daughters. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family by going to different lakes, whether up north or local ones around home. Mike is originally from Hutchinson and currently lives in Darwin, MN.
Mike’s father, Terry Holtz, originally founded Pro-Maintenance and involved Mike in the business in 1995. In 2000, Mike briefly left Pro Maintenance when he joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served in an Infantry Unit during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mike returned to Pro Maintenance in 2005, starting as a Sales Representative for the company. In 2018 he had the opportunity to become a part-owner of Pro Maintenance, along with Scott Perkins.
In his free time Mike enjoys the outdoors, whether it’s hunting ducks with his dog, fishing from the boat or on the ice, or hanging out with his kids at the lake; he embraces the Midwest lifestyle to its fullest.
Brian Schlueter - Shop Manager

Brian has been with his girlfriend for 10 years; he has 1 kid of his own and 4 step-kids. Brian spends his free time at family gatherings and enjoys playing cards, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Brian is from Hutchinson and still currently lives in Hutch. The former owner of Pro Maintenance had asked Brian if he was interested in a new job. Brian was interested in the new opportunity; the pay was better and he would be closer to home. Brian has been with Pro Maintenance full-time for 23 years and about 3-weekend road warrior years. Brian’s job revolves around doing all the purchasing, seeing to all vehicle maintenance, assigning vehicles to jobs, trying to a find use for extra materials, and filling out all the load sheets for each job. Before working at Pro Maintenance, Brian was a night shift supervisor for a very large dairy farm.
Michelle Maki - Office Manager
Michelle is married to Willie, and together they have two children. She enjoys watching sports, coaching volleyball, attending car racing events, and participating in outdoor activities. In her free time, Michelle loves spending time with her dogs and resides south of Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Michelle earned her Accounting degree from Ridgewater College and brings a strong background in business and financial operations to her role. Since early 2026, she has served as the Office Manager, where she oversees administrative, accounting, payroll, and office functions while supporting the continued success of the organization.

My name is Heather, and I am married with two young boys. I recently joined Pro Maintenance and have enjoyed learning about the floor coating industry. My previous experience as a Branch Manager for a staffing agency helped me develop strong organizational and time management skills, which I now use in my role as Office Coordinator to support this fast-paced and ever-changing business. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we’re relaxing at the cabin or enjoying time together at home.

Kevin is recently married to his wife Caroline. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with friends, going to Twins games, or being out on patios/rooftops. Kevin was born in Maine and moved to Pennsylvania. From there, he moved to Illinois before eventually settling in Minnesota. Kevin currently lives in Plymouth, MN. Kevin started pouring concrete for his high school football coach when he was 16. This led him to start his own business and eventually took a job in the coatings industry which led to sales/project management. Kevin was looking to advance his career in a different direction and a vendor made the introduction. He has been with Pro Maintenance ever since.
Kevin has been with Pro Maintenance for about a year and a half. His job includes prospecting new work, following up on leads, and sometimes business development. The main part of Kevin’s job is inspecting floors and making the appropriate recommendation for a flooring system. Once that is done, Kevin facilitates the installation as the project manager and coordinates with customers to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Josh Schmidt - Salesman

Josh is married with two children and one stepchild. Josh enjoys family activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities. Josh’s wife and daughter have three horses and enjoy competing and riding them. Josh is from Darwin, MN and still resides there. Josh first started working at Pro Maintenance 24 years ago working in the shop after school. After graduating from high school, Josh then started installing over the road. Josh installed for 21 years and is now part of sales and project management. Josh has been recognized twice in Coatings Pro Magazines.
